Job Summary:
As a QA Engineer in the Security domain, you will be responsible for testing and validating our security-focused products and features. You will work closely with the development, and external partners to design, implement, and execute test plans that ensure our solutions meet the highest security standards. Your role will also involve creating comprehensive documentation and collaborating with partners to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
In this role you will help us to
- Carry out security testing: Design, implement, and execute security-focused test cases, including penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and secure code reviews.
- Write test planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover functional, security, performance, and scalability aspects of the product.
- Build automation: Build and maintain automated test scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency, particularly focusing on security aspects.
- Support collaboration: Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to identify, document, and track security issues, bugs, and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain compliance: Ensure products comply with industry security standards and regulations (e.g., OWASP, NIST, GDPR).
- Provide risk assessment: Participate in risk assessment and mitigation activities, providing QA input on potential security risks.
- Report: Document and communicate test results, providing actionable insights to improve the security and quality of the products.
- Improve continuously: Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve testing methodologies to enhance product security.
- Provide incident response: Assist in post-incident reviews by providing data and analysis on how security incidents could have been prevented through better testing.
We are looking for people who have
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
- Experience as a QA or Support Agent (from 2 years)
